Guadalupe
About 3 km south of Santa Cruz towards the interior, you will find Guadalupe, the second biggest town of the island, which stretches along three roads leading into different directions between the hill ranges of Serra das Fontes and Serra Dormida. The three roads meet in the centre of the village, where the 18th-century church of Nossa Senhora da Guadalupe with a Baroque façade typical for the Azores and a Holy-Ghost chapel can be found.
